Surikov Viktor Petrovich
Founder, owner, and head of scientific work at the group of companies and the Healingbowl® brand. By education — an anesthesiologist‑resuscitator, reflexotherapist.
Author of the methodology titled “Sound Resonance (Vibration‑Acoustic) Therapy with Singing Bowls” (authorship registered in 2016). The very concepts of “Sound Resonance Therapy with Singing Bowls” and “Vibration‑Acoustic Therapy with Singing Bowls” emerged at this point.
Head and instructor at the Healingbowl® Training Centre, Moscow.
He has ensured (methodologically and instrumentally) the application of his own methods of sound resonance therapy with singing bowls by specialists in health‑improvement institutions in Russia and various countries around the world, in both Russian and English.
He popularised the methodology and made it accessible for learning at the level of private users and collectors.
Born on November 15, 1971, in the village of Albazino, Skovorodinsky District, Amur Region, USSR.
He spent the first 37 years of his life in the Far East, which allowed him to become acquainted with the medical traditions of Asian countries. In 1994, he received his medical education (Blagoveshchensk State Medical Institute), and in 1999 — specialisation in the field of anesthesiology and resuscitation (Amur State Medical Academy). He worked in emergency medicine and then turned to studying physiotherapy and rehabilitation techniques.
EDUCATION
1994 — General Medicine (Blagoveshchensk State Medical Institute);
1999 — Anesthesiology and Resuscitation (Amur State Medical Academy) — advanced training;
2008–2013 — studied Eastern medicine techniques in Southeast Asian countries: China, Thailand, Nepal;
2025 — obtained qualification in reflexotherapy (RUDN, Department of OMTG).
HISTORY OF THE SRT (SOUND RESONANCE THERAPY) METHOD
In 2008, Viktor Petrovich became interested in singing bowls and began active research, as he could not find reliable scientific information about them. This led him to many years of travel across Southeast Asian countries (Nepal, Thailand, China, Vietnam, South Korea, Malaysia, etc.), where he studied folk traditions of using singing bowls — which inspired him to create his own methods.
Thus, Viktor Petrovich began developing his own methods in 2008.
Since 2012, he has been training students from different countries.
In 2014, he completed advanced training for medical professionals at RUDN in the specialty “Laser Medicine”, as a result of which he developed the MKVAM training program (Microcirculatory Vibration‑Acoustic Massageage). In 2015, he trained RUDN students in this method (MKVAM) as part of a medical professional development program. Based on this experience, he created an original methodology titled “Vibropuncture (Point Massageage with Healingbowl® Singing Bowls)”.
He organised licensed training in Russia (in‑person and online) based on his methods:
general education programs for everyone (18+);
additional professional development program “Full Course: Sound Resonance (Vibration‑Acoustic) Therapy with HEALINGBOWL® Singing Bowls”, with state‑issued certificates. Provided by LLC “Surya”, Moscow. License № L035‑01298‑77/00181843 from the Moscow Department of Education.
The methodology is taught at the Healingbowl® Training Centre in‑person and online, and includes four training courses and a CPE (Continuing Professional Education) course with a state‑issued certificate:
Course 1. Sound Resonance Therapy with Healingbowl® Singing Bowls.
Course 2. Himalayan Contact‑Acoustic Singing Bowl Massageage.
Course 3. Sound (Acoustic) Massageage with Healingbowl® Singing Bowls.
Course 4. Vibropuncture (Point Massageage) with Healingbowl® Singing Bowls.
CPE (Continuing Professional Education): Full Course. Sound Resonance (Vibration‑Acoustic) Therapy with Healingbowl® Singing Bowls.
Certificates and state‑issued certificates of Healingbowl® students
The value of the methodology lies in the fact that, although developed for professionals, it is easily mastered by amateurs for use in the family setting. Individuals and business leaders equip relaxation rooms with Healingbowl® singing bowls. They use them themselves, invite specialists to conduct sessions using Dr. Surikov V.P.’s methods, or train their own specialists.
As of now (2025), Dr. Surikov V.P. is working on patenting his methods.
HISTORY OF THE HEALINGBOWL® TRADEMARK AND SINGING BOWLS
In 2014, Viktor Petrovich opened an office in Kathmandu (Nepal) and organised the development, production, and quality control of special professional and collector’s singing bowls and sets under the Healingbowl® brand in Nepal — specifically to support his methods.
For performing massage with a singing bowl using the rotational technique, it turns out that very few of the mass‑produced bowls are suitable. Not only the diameter and fundamental frequency of the bowl’s sound matter, but also the quality of the alloy and the way the edge of the bowl’s wall is finished.
Therefore, having gained a clear understanding of the requirements for such a bowl for use in the contact method, Dr. Surikov V.P. organised production in Nepal of special singing bowls for professional use, marked with the SVS (Surikov Viktor School) label, and later, from 2020, under the Healingbowl® brand (a trademark registered in many countries worldwide). Workshops in Nepal capable of fulfilling orders to the highest standards have been identified. Under the supervision of Healingbowl® specialists, professional‑line Healingbowl® singing bowls are now manufactured in these workshops. Such bowls are suitable for providing services with a high level of professional responsibility.
In November 2019, the main Healingbowl® trademark was registered. From 2019 to 2025, 13 additional trademarks for professional and collector’s lines of singing bowls were registered in the Russian Federation. At present, the Healingbowl® trademark is registered in all major countries worldwide (RF, USA, Nepal, China, India, EU, Malaysia).
The following names are officially registered as trademarks:
Healingbowl® Professional Himalaya Pearl®;
Healingbowl® Professional Black Pearl®;
Healingbowl® Professional Silver Pearl®;
Healingbowl® Professional Golden Pearl®;
Healingbowl® Professional Surya Pearl®;
Healingbowl® Professional Surya®;
Healingbowl® Professional Giant Bowl Everest®;
Healingbowl® Luxury Mustang®;
Healingbowl® Old Tibet Luxury®.
System of assembling sets of 7 and 14 singing bowls
As a result of research, experiments, and a number of consultations with music therapists, musicians, and psychotherapists, Dr. Surikov V.P. developed a special scheme for assembling a set, taking into account diameters, octaves, and frequencies for maximum effectiveness in applying his methods.
A complete set of 14 bowls is designed for the full implementation of all possibilities of his own methods.
It includes:
a core (universal) set of 7 bowls with a diameter of 19–29 cm;
a small acoustic set of 7 bowls with a diameter of 12–17 cm.
The schemes and the entire set of principles according to which the sets are assembled are trade secrets and are not disclosed.

First recognition of the methodology’s effectiveness
The high effectiveness of the proprietary methodologies implemented by Healingbowl® specialists attracted global scientists studying the phenomenon of sound. This circumstance allowed Dr. Surikov’s presentation to be included in the general program of a closed forum with the participation of renowned and respected professors from Germany and Russia who are researching and introducing innovative non‑drug treatment methods into the spa and health resort sector.
Dr. Surikov (anesthesiologist‑resuscitator, author of Healingbowl® methodologies), assisted by Antonina Aleksandrovna Kozyreva (clinical psychologist, Novosibirsk), conducted research on four methodologies and performed about 30 therapeutic‑diagnostic sessions (Congress participants acted as volunteer patients) under the supervision of the VALEOSCAN hardware‑software complex. This equipment uses modern metrology tools and enables assessment of the human immune status based on comprehensive testing of biophysical parameters of organs, tissues, and functional systems.
During the research, patient indicators were recorded before and after the sessions over the course of four days. The results of the proposed methodologies using vibration‑acoustic resonators from the school exceeded all expectations and demonstrated a steady improvement of the studied parameters by an average of 85 %. The reliability of the examination is beyond doubt, as this medical equipment is used in diagnostic and treatment centres across Europe.
On the final day of the International Congress, V.P. Surikov delivered a report on the effectiveness of sound resonance therapy and the results of patient examinations. The author’s methodologies received high praise from distinguished Congress participants who also received sessions: Academician Prof. Mashkov O.A., Prof. Bilits K. (psychiatrist), Prof. Schotler V., Prof. Karbysheva N.V. (Doctor of Medicine), businessman Anisimov B.N., and others.

Dr. Surikov conducts training at a Tibetan monastery
Since 2016, he has periodically conducted training in the main hall of a Tibetan monastery‑university (Pokhara, Nepal) — a unique event in history: no group of students had ever before undergone training in the main hall of the monastery under an external instructor (not affiliated with the monastery). This reflects the high level of acceptance of the methodology’s merits.
Of great significance is the fact that during this time, Dr. Surikov’s team documented (on video) the complete lack of awareness among Tibetan lamas and monks from the Mustang kingdom regarding the purpose and methods of using the so‑called “Tibetan singing bowls”. It was also confirmed that no singing bowls were ever produced in Tibet. Accordingly, all claims about the Tibetan origin of singing bowls and related methodologies should be considered fantasies of their authors. Statements such as “learned the methodology from Tibetan monks” should be met with skepticism.

International recognition and royal level
In April 2025, Healingbowl® was officially welcomed at the Nepalese royal family’s palace. Princess Jyoti Shah invited the founder of the sound resonance therapy with singing bowls methodology, Dr. Surikov V.P., and his assistant (Prokopenko I.A.) to her residence for demonstration sessions and negotiations. A full course of 12 sessions was conducted for Princess Jyoti Shah using the methodologies and tools developed by Dr. Surikov. Sessions were also held for the Crown Princess (heir princess) of Nepal, Himani Shah, and Princess of Nepal Shova Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah.
The quality of the sessions conducted for five Nepalese princesses was evaluated exceptionally highly. The official status was confirmed: Healingbowl® works with the Royal Family of Nepal. Strategic partnership building has begun for the development of holistic centres and educational Healingbowl® projects in Nepal, supported at the highest level.
In February 2026, the Healingbowl® team gratefully presented Princess Jyoti with the first Global Ambassador Certificate of the brand. For October 2026, the opening of the Healingbowl® residence is planned in a house provided for this purpose by the Princess.
