The bowls' surfaces undergo a special pre-treatment and are then coated with a special organic varnish. This ensures the bowls glide perfectly, and the coating does not wear off, leave marks, or change over time.

The complex, labor-intensive forging and subsequent processing technology determines the quality of the instrument.
