You lie down and sink into deep relaxation

It starts with a short consultation. The specialist asks what brings you in and whether there are any limitations, in order to decide which algorithms to use: vibro-acoustic or sound resonance. Then you stand in the giant bowl and it is struck: the vibration travels up through the feet and releases the main blocks within a couple of minutes. This prepares the body for the work that follows. After that the work goes on by the sound resonance method, the vibro-acoustic method, or a combination of the two. The session is built for you alone. Throughout the session, whichever algorithms are used, you stay fully clothed — so your clothes should be loose and as comfortable as possible. Metal items or buttons on clothing make an unpleasant sound on contact with a bowl; please bear this in mind in advance.

A guest standing in the giant bowl at the start of a session
The session starts standing in the giant bowl: the vibration travels up through the feet.

People usually come to us in situations like these:

  • sleep has not been good lately
  • a long flight and a change of time zones just behind them
  • heavy physical exertion ahead, or just behind
  • muscle tension that has not let go for a long time
  • a long stretch of strain: the nervous system has been running at its limit
  • stiffness after long hours at a desk — wanting to move freely again
  • care for the skin of the face and neck: the vibration protocol works on the surface, as an alternative to buccal massage
  • wanting an hour of quiet before an important decision or a round of negotiations

The session relieves muscle tension, reduces stiffness in the muscles and joints, restores mobility and stimulates circulation and lymph flow.

After a session people most often tell us the same things: deep relaxation, lightness in the body, clarity in the head, a steady emotional state. Many mention warmth and a sense of flow in the arms and legs. Some fall asleep during the session itself.

The session is used as part of recovery programmes, after consulting your treating doctor. The work is mechanical vibration on the soft tissue, over your clothes. If you are recovering after an injury or an operation, are under treatment or have a diagnosis, the decision on whether to add sessions is your treating doctor's. Write to us and we will tell you what to show them.

We describe what the session is aimed at within its own forty-five minutes, and claim nothing beyond that.

Formats

Four ways to book

  • Individual session

One person. The acoustic protocol, the contact protocol, or a combination — decided after the conversation at the start.

    45 min
  • Group session

From one to three visitors in the room at the same time, with one specialist. Sound resonance therapy is used.

    45 min
  • Healthy Longevity course

A course of 3 to 10 sessions with a clear plan. The first session is a test one, used to build the plan for the rest of the course. In three sessions the specialist can work through every part of the body; a course of five or more is for going deeper into particular areas. The course is booked as a whole.

    3–10 sessions
  • Facial protocol

A distinct contact technique using small vibration bowls on the face and neck. It is a separate protocol with a sequence of its own. The facial massage is an alternative to buccal massage, but the work stays entirely on the surface of the skin. The vibration from outside acts on the facial muscles strongly enough to spare the practitioner from working from inside — a less invasive approach. The sequence also covers the lymphatic drainage zones, which reduces puffiness in the face. Suitable for women and men alike.

    45 min

Sessions are by appointment only — there is no walk-in schedule. Group sound healing sessions, and sessions at your own venue in Kuala Lumpur, are arranged separately.

Prices

Three levels of specialist, three programmes

Sessions are given by certified sound healing specialists trained in the school. The level — Junior, Senior or Master — reflects how long the specialist has practised and how much training they have behind them; the protocol itself and its length are the same. A course is booked as a block and costs less than the same number of single visits.

Contact work with a bowl placed on the body during a session
The vibro-acoustic method, the contact protocol: the bowl is worked over the body.

What we recommend for your visit

  • Wear something loose, or bring a change of clothes — you stay dressed for the whole session. A tight belt, narrow clothing and metal jewellery will get in the way of relaxing.
  • Eat no later than two hours before the session. Lying still on a full stomach is uncomfortable.
  • Arrive ten minutes early, so that you can settle after the journey and tune in to the session. The effect will be deeper for it.
  • Do not plan anything busy for the hour afterwards. Give that hour to yourself and enjoy the effect.
  • Tell us in advance about pregnancy, a pacemaker or any implant, epilepsy, a recent operation or an acute painful condition. Some of these change the protocol; in some cases we will ask you to consult a doctor first, or move the session.

Contraindications for a session

Most of these apply to the contact protocol, where the bowl is placed on the body. The acoustic protocol, where the bowls stand around you and are not placed on the body, has very few restrictions. Tell us in advance and we will either adjust the protocol or say plainly that a session is not the right thing right now.

  • Pregnancy, and the first trimester in particular
  • Epilepsy and any convulsive conditions
  • A pacemaker or any implanted device, and metal implants in the area being worked on
  • Acute inflammation, high temperature, any acute painful condition
  • Recent surgery or a recent injury
  • Alcohol intoxication
  • Fresh tattoos, piercings and other recent procedures on the skin in the area being worked on
  • An individual intolerance to sound and vibration
  • Other conditions for which vibration and massage are not advised for you

If you are under treatment or have a diagnosis, the decision to add sessions is made by your treating doctor. We are not a medical centre and do not provide medical services.
